This UNIT Garage ATLAS series heavy-duty side pannier rack is designed to work with the BMW R1200GS, R1250GS and R1200GS LC.
UNIT Garage ATLAS series racks are ready for big trips and capable of higher-volume payloads; a feat they achieve without looking like overbuilt scaffolding. These adventure-ready racks are well designed, cleanly braced, and mount up with the precision of an OEM factory accessory.
ATLAS racks connect to a specific set of bikes' subframes at three locations per side (versus two for the lighter-duty ), and are further secured by a fourth connection point thanks to the cross-brace running across the back. Model-specific instructions and all necessary metric mounting hardware come included.These racks are precisely formed from 18mm stainless steel with a 2mm wall thickness, and are offered in a matte black epoxy powder finish. Some models also are available in a silver micro-blasted and electropolished surface finish.
UNIT Garage ATLAS Racks are designed to work within the family of corresponding —which include a waxed canvas model with leather trim, a more modern and fully waterproof Khali-series TPU soft bag, and a series of locking aluminum hard cases.

The ATLAS rack design wisely mimics the offset exhaust-side profile contour of the BMW GS OEM factory racks, and offers the same profile for any bike requiring an exhaust-side offset.
This means that while the mounting points between bikes will vary wildly, the mounting profile remains the same. It also means that all the UNIT Garage ATLAS bags are reverse-compatible with both BMW factory luggage racks, and many other 3rd party racks.
And vice versa.
UNIT Garage ATLAS racks also play nice with a wide range of other 3rd party bags and accessories, EG: 22- and 32-liter side panniers. And with the Kriega OS plates mounted to ATLAS racks, users can also mount up the smaller OS bags, and/or RotoPax fuel or water containers. ATLAS racks also work with , via the same hardware designed to mount to Original BMW racks.
